January early sunlights - Tammikuun ensivaloja auringosta
The early January days in Varrio conditions are often cloudy, and the first sunrise of the year keeps waiting. In the year 2006 the midday Sun showed up on 15 Jan. I was on the top of Varrio one fell. The reindeers were also there, for lichens, apparently not for the first Sun.
Tammikuun alkupäivät ovat usein pilvisiä ja kaamoksen jälkeinen ensimmäinen aurinkohavainto antaa odottaa. Vuonna 2006 aurinko näyttäytyi Värriötunturissa tammikuun 15. Myös porot olivat Värriö ykkösen laella, jäkälän perässä, tuskin auringon.
