Entisaikaan paliskuntain väliset poroaidat pystytettiin paikallisesta puusta. Sitä riitti, niin työtäkin ja työn tekijöitä. Nyt poroaidat ovat pääosin verkkoaitoja. Kuvan (syyskuulta 2004) poroaidan jäännös Jyppyrävaaran eteläpuolella.


In the previous times the fences between the Reindeer herding districts were made of local material. There was (and there still is) plenty of conifer wood available. Plenty of work was needed. Nowadays the fences are made following netfence types. The old fence in the photo (from late September 2004) is south of Jyppyravaara hill.
