Korvatunturi on jo lähes puhdistunut lumesta, ainakin etelärinteeltään. Tänään oli kova, kylmä luoteistuuli, joka puhdisti ilman. Korvatunturin silhuetti näkyi Värriö ykköselle hyvin. Näkyvyys oli itse asiassa niin hyvä, että Korvatunturin oikeanpuolimmaisen huipun takaa näkyvä Venäjän puolen Joutsenpää näkyi lähes yhtä hyvin kuin itse Korvatunturi.


Korvatunturi fell is well visible from Varrio one in the weather like today: cold breeze from northeast which clears the air from dust. The triple top of Korvatunturi fell is seen in the picture, as well as the Joutsenpaa peak behind the easternmost Korvatunturi peak. Joutsenpaa fell is situated on the Russian side of the border.
