Värriön luontopäiväkirja - Varrio nature diary

Useamman päivän poutajakson ja kirkkaan pakkassään jälkeen taivas vetäytyi tänään puolipilveen. Lounainen taivas sai uuden kirjailun. Kuva Rakitsalta kohti Värriö ykköstä.

Huurre alkaa irtaantua puista. Vastavalossa se näkyi Kuutsjärven yli tukikohdan pihalta. Ikäänkuin timantteja satoi rannan puussa olevan telkänpöntön yllä.

After the period of several days of bright sky and bitterly cold weather some clouds came today from the southwest. The sky got new colors. The photo has been taken southeast of Rakitsa hill.

The rime from the trees is starting to fall. It can be seen by looking towards the sun, like in the photo taken south of Varrio research station, over the Kuutsjarvi lake. It looks like small diamonds are pouring above the box nest of Goldeneye.
