Värriön tutkimusasemalla on ilmatieteen laitoksen automaattimen säähavaintoasema. Viimeöoisen lumipyryn jälkeen se näytti lumen syvyydeksi 63 cm. Taivas on vielä paksussa pilvessä ja säähavaintoaseman pihavalo syttyy aikaisin iltapäivällä. Taustalla Värriön agregaattikoppi.

Varrio Research Station has also an automatic climate station (in the middle of the photo) run by the Finnish Meteorological Office. After the snow storm of the previous night the snow height pole showed depth of 63 cm. The sky is covered by thick clouds and the light turns on early in the afternoon. The small hut behind is the generator shelter.
