Kaamoksen valoja ja koskikara - Midwinter lights and Dipper

Ylinuortin latva virtaa osittain sulana huurteisten pajujen keskellä (vasemmalla). Piirtävä lämpömittari näyttää 18 pakkasastetta (keskellä, Tapani Tuohimaa tarkistaa lämpötilaa).

River Ylinuortti is still partly open inside the willow bushes (left). Thermograph showed -18 degrees Celcius (Mr. Tapani Tuohimaa checking the temperature in the middle).
The temperature was somewhat lower at Sotajoki river (right), at least the river in the middle of the aapa mire was fully frozen. Despite the harsh conditions a lonesome Dipper (Cinclus cinclus) was flying downstream the river, hastily though. - Look at the geoposition of Sotajoki bridge.
