Järripeipon kanta vakaa - Brambling stock is stable
Järripeippo on Värriön luonnonpuiston toiseksi yleisin lintu (yleisin on pajulintu). Sen kanta puiston alueella on noin 2100 paria.
Se tavataan pistelaskentalinjoilla noin 100 kertaa kesässä. Järripeipon kanta on pysynyt Värriön luonnonpuistossa vakaana vuodesta 1985; vaikka kanta näyttäisi laskevan hitaasti, laskevalla suunnalla ei ole kuitenkaan tilastotieteellistä merkitsevyyttä.
Brambling (Frincilla montifrincilla) is the secondmost common bird in Varrio Nature Reserve (the most common is Willow warbler). The estimated total stock is about 2100 pairs.
On spot monitoring lines Brambling is counted about 100 times per summer. The stock has remained stable, although a light sinking trend could be imagined from the population development. The trend, however, is far from statistical significance.
