Joulukuun 13. päivänä aurinko yrittää vielä nousta etelästä. Puolilta päivin siitä näkyy kuitenkin vain kehrä; itse kiekko ei pääse enää horisontin yläpuolelle. Kuva Rakitsan vaarasta etelään; oikealla Värriotuntureiden kolmoslaki.On July 13 the sun still tries to rise from the south. At noon only remote glare of the sun, however, is seen. The disc of the sun does no more show up. The photo has been taken on top of Rakitsa hill towards south. The peak to the right is Varrio III.
