Tutkimusaseman alapuolella oleva Kuutsjärvi - saunajärvi - jäätyi 23.10.2005. Kuvassa rantasauna syystalven asussa. Tutkimusaseman päärakennus ylhäällä portaiden päässä. Kuntasjoki virtaa kuvan oikean laidan kuruun.

Lake Kuutsjarvi, below the research station (to the upper left in the picture) got the ice cover on 23 October 2005. The Finnish sauna (in the centre) is part of the research station. Kuntas river flows from the lake to Kuntas creek (on the right in the picture).
