Tienvarsikoppelot / Female Capercaillies by the road
Tähän aikaan keväästä näkee kanalintuja teiden varsilla etsimässä jauhinkiviä ruoansulatuskoneistoonsa. Tämä koppelo oli toisen kanssa Yli-Nuortin maantiesillan länsipuolella aamupäivällä. Lähistöllä kuului pohjansirkun laulu.
Kuutsjärven eteläpuolitse koilliseen lensi maakotka klo 14.25.
Ilma oli tänään kolea, kovaa koillistuulta, aamupäivällä miinusasteita. Kevät ei ole paljoa edennyt viikon aikana (kuva Värriö 1:ltä). Illalla satoi lunta. TH
At this time you can see gallinaceous birds by the roads searching little stones for their alimentary canal. This female Capercaillie was with another on the west side of the road bridge of Yli-Nuortti in the morning. Near by the place I heard Rustig Bunting (Emberiza rustica)singing.
Golden Eagle flew by Kuutsjärvi to the NE at 14.25.
The weather was cold today, strong wind from NW, below zero in the morning. The spring has not gone further during the week (photo from Värriö 1.). It was snowing in the evening.
